When he was very π¦πΏyoung , I took our πͺson David to the hospital for a shot . As the doctor π¨πΏapproached with a needle in hand, David bolted .
When I finally πhim up into my armsπͺπΎ, I saw the terror in his face .....
corralled him behind a planter and swung
How can you explain to a sick π€toddler that this body needs penicillin? π€
Yet David π¦πΏstayed in my arms πͺπΎas the doctor prepared to give the injection . When the moment ⌛came , David didn't push me away. Instead he held on more tightly π§π©and cried out 'Daddy!!'
We go through long πseasons in our faith π·πΏwalk πΆπ½when we're unableπto answer questions like "Why☹?" and "How longπ?" We only know "Who" - Our Loving Father in whom we trust . He asks us to let go ππΎof reasons of rights , of fears, and simply throw our arms πͺπΎaround His neck. At those times we can prayππ½ : "Father, I'm hanging on to you . You can do whatever you want. Just carry πͺme through."
